Ramesh Sepehrrad is an accomplished Senior Executive, Advisor, and Thought Leader with more than 29 years of success across the information technology, telecom, and financial services industries. Her broad areas of expertise include digital transformation, governance, risk management, and international operations.
Ramesh holds a leadership position as the Founder & Managing Director of Risk and Cybersecurity Advisory Engagements for S&B Strategies where she conducts risk and maturity assessment across the enterprise based on NIST CSF, FFIEC/ACET, and CIS 20 standards, developed risk-driven enterprise strategies and framework for secure data governance, and DevOps in alignment with technology transformation. She has also served as the Vice President Information, Technology and Resiliency Risk Officer for Freddie Mac and she developed and implemented the Information, Technology, Resiliency Risk Appetite and the Key Risk reporting requirements for all lines of businesses and divisions.
Prior to her role at Freddie Mac, Ramesh additionally led as the Vice President of Security Innovation and GRC and the Vice President of Quality Assurance and Risk Management for Comcast Cable. For her exceptional leadership, she has been recognized for the Archer Innovation Award, Best Program of the Year (three-times winner) 2014, 2015 and 2016, Information Security Project of the Year, Cyber Value at Risk Program 2017, and the CSO Magazine Top 50 Projects of the Year, Various Security Projects (five-times winner) 2013 thru 2018.
Ramesh obtained her BS in Computer Science from State University of New York at Buffalo as well as an MA in Political Science and Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University. She is an advisor for Paladion, the School of Engineering, and the Organization of Iranian American Communities (OIAC).
